General:
MIT 50 is an active ingredient solution for the preservation of paints, binder dispersions, adhesives and other technical products. Methylisothiazolinone contains an active substance permitted for use in food contact coatings and adhesives provided that the customary dosage rates are not exceeded. It's a straight aqueous solution of the active ingredient Methylisothiazolone, and does not contribute to VOC and AOX.

Application field:
Suitabe for use in daily chemicals, cosmetics, paints, synthetic polymer emulsions, and other water-based systems.
Performance characteristics
1. With bactericidal, antibacterial, highly-efficient, broad-spectrum, and long-lasting features.
2. Miscible with water and easy to use.
3. Will cause no harm at the recommended concentration of using.
4. Don’t accumulate in the environment; easily degraded.
5. Suitable for use in the medium of the pH value in the range of 2 to 12.
6. Good compatibility with body care products in surfactants and emulsifiers.
Range of use:
The optimum dosage rate depends upon the degree of contamination and the susceptibility of the product to be preserved. Occasionally, the degree of contamination exhibits seasonal fluctuation, so that a periodical determination of germ counts can assist in choosing the optimum dosage rate.
The typical use concentration ranges between 0.05 – 0.15%. In the case of special application, please consult either our Technical or our Biological Laboratories for assistance.
Handing and storage：
Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet of this product for precise handling instructions.In general, avoid eye and skin contact, wear safety goggles, gloves and protective clothing.In case of eye or skin contact despite precautionary measures, wash immediately andthoroughly with plenty of warm water and obtain medical attention.The legal requirements prevailing in your country, especially on working hygiene and in the avoidance of accidents, must be observed.
This biocide should be stored in closed original containers in a cool place, but not below 0°C. At temperatures below 0°C solidification of the product may occur. If the product does freeze, allow it to return to room temperature and it will turn liquid again. Bioactivity is unaffected by freezing and melting.

Package：1000KGs IBC or 200kg drums or 25kg drums
Shell life：Storage for 12 months in shady room and dry place.
