General:
Bronopol is highly effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi and yeasts. It is especially effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which is a common contaminant in industrial water systems and personal care products.

Applications:
Mainly used in industrial circulating water, paper pulp, paint, plastics, cosmetics, wood, cooling water circulation system, as well as sterilization, mildew, anti-corrosion and algae killing for industrial purposes.
Advantage:
(1) Highly efficient, with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, can inhibit the growth of most bacteria at25ppm concentration, and better for Gram-negative bacteria and various Pseudomonas species;
(2) Low dosage and low price. In cosmetics, the dosage is generally 0.01~0.05%, which is one tenth of the common preservatives of parabens, and the cost of use is more than half of that of parabens;
(3) Good compatibility. Nutrients such as protein and various cationic, anionic, nonionic surfactants will not affect its antibacterial effect;
(4) A suitable pH range. It is effective in the range of pH 4～9, that is, in the environment of weak acidity, neutrality and partial alkali, it can maintain strong antibacterial effect after adding;
(5) Good water solubility and easy to use. It is easily soluble in water and has a solubility of 25g in water at 25℃. It is extremely convenient to use.
Range of use:
This product can be used in creams, lotions, shampoos and other products. The general addition amount is 0.2-0.5‰, and the maximum allowable addition amount in the daily chemical product is 1‰, and there is no residue in the discharge, which will not cause cumulative pollution to the environment. Application pH range: 4-8; application temperature range: generally pre-dissolved in an appropriate amount of water, added below 60℃.
